It is with immense sadness we announce the passing of
Wendy’s soulmate, best friend and groom at the young
age of 51. Larry passed at home, May 7, 2008 with his
bride at his side and surrounded by friends. Larry was a
special man who will always be remembered for his
mischievous nature and genuine love of life. Lar had a
way about him that made everyone feel important,
interesting and special. Larry enjoyed significant success

starting out in Calgary, AB, and over the past ten years in
Vancouver, BC. He was well respected in the business
community. Coach Wolfe touched many young lives with
his tireless passion for hockey – coaching in the Calgary
Royals and Buffalo junior hockey systems. Lar is survived
by his bride of fifteen years, Wendy Best, Sidney, BC
his Aunt Joan and Uncle Doug Ross, Pictou County, NS
and numerous friends and extended family. We would like
to acknowledge the many healthcare professionals that
helped Larry throughout the past year. There will be a
