GEORGE ERNEST MAHOVLICH
SEPTEMBER 23, 1944 – MAY 2, 2007
In the early dawn of May 2, 2007 George Mahovlich passed away in his sleep in the Palliative Care Unit of the Saanich Peninsula Hospital (Victoria, B.C.). George succumbed to the complications of acute myeloid leukemia which was diagnosed soon after his admission to hospital on February 5th.
