CREE, George “Geordie”. On April 18, 2007 at the age of eighty-five. Beloved husband of Violet (nee Smith) for sixty-four years. Loving father of Gary and Barbara (Marc); grandfather of Geordie (Rachel), Tara (Nick), and Justin; great-grandfather of Emma, Julia, and Owen; uncle to many nieces and nephews. Photographer with Montreal Gazette from 1966-1980, Photo Editor from 1980-1989. Will be sadly missed by his extended family and friends. No service or flowers due to his wishes. Tributes may be made in his memory to the Victoria Kidney Foundation or his favourite charity: Variety Club of BC.

Deborah Wilson When I was a child living in Rosemount, Barbara was a good friend, Gary was a friend of my brother Gordie, and Mrs. Cree was friends with my Mom. I have many photos that Mr. Cree took of us kids at play, and many fond memories of him taking them. My comdolences to the family.
My dad was George Cree, Walters brother, who moved to Liverpool.
