Wilson, Gerald Einar
Loving husband of Helen Margaret nee: Martens, died peacefully at home. He was the son of Mr. & Mrs. Robert Wilson of Newhill, Alberta. After a brief period at the University of Alberta he enlisted in the R.C.A.F. After training as a Navigator Bomb Aimer he was sent to England. He was part of a bomber group and flew 61 missions on Main Force and Pathfinders. He was awarded the D.F.C. and Bar. After the war he attended the University of Toronto in Engineering and Business. In 1950 he was employed at John Labatt and stayed until he retired as Vice President of Engineering in 1987. He was on the board of several organizations including the Diabetic Society, Boys and Girls Club of London, London Symphony Orchestra, Conservatory of Music and the Heritage Foundation of London. No service by request.
