It is with great sadness Henry and Dan Janda are announcing the passing of Dr. Jana O. Janda on Thursday, January 25, 2007. Born October 17, 1942 close to Prague, Czech Republic. Jana graduated from Charles University in Prague in 1967 with her MD degree. In 1968 Jana emigrated to Canada, and worked at the Winnipeg Clinic. After completing her internship she was accepted to Queens University in 1979 to study Ophthalmology. Graduating in 1982 she started private practice in Kamloops. In 2000 she came to Victoria and joined the practice of Dr. J. Taylor and later worked at Dr. L. Brierley’s Clinic. Jana loved hiking, walking, kayaking, music, reading, sewing, photography, loved
