MacLEOD, J.E. (Gene) – Passed away peacefully at home on August 24, 2004. Born in Victoria, BC on February 28, 1922, he is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Joan; his children, Bill, Bob and Patricia; grandchildren, Andrew, Collin, Magenta, Victoria, Ola, Amanda and Byron; brother, Charles (Chuck); sisters-in-law, Doreen and Anne (Nancy); brother-in-law, Richard (Dick); and all of his family and friends.
A celebration of Gene’s life will be held at CENTENNIAL UNITED CHURCH, 649 Gorge Rd., East on Friday, September 3, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Alanna Menu officiating. A reception will take place at the church hall following the service. Flowers gratefully declined. In lieu of flowers, kind donations may be made tot he Centennial United Church Memorial Fund.
