GROVE – Francis Langton Bennets “Frank”, born October 30th 1916 in Montreal, Quebec, passed away peacefully on January 1st 2004 in Victoria, BC. Predeceased by his parents, Humphrey and Edith as well as his beloved cat, Seamus. Dearly beloved husband of Lorna, his wife of 28 years. Lovingly remembered by his; step daughter, Wendy Muir (Graham); granddaughters, Diana and Stephanie; sister, Sylvia of Auckland, New Zealand; nephews, Brian and David and neice, Rosemary. He will be sadly missed by his many close friends and neighbours. Frank served 6 years in the Royal Canadian Navy and worked with Bell Canada for 30 years. Funeral service will take place on Tuesday, January 6th 2004 at MCCALL BROS. FLORAL CHAPEL, Johnson and Vancouver Sts at 11:00 AM. Burial to follow at Royal Oak Burial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations in Frank’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society of BC, 2571 A Quadra Street, Victoria BC V8T 4E1.
