Derek was born in Nanaimo, BC on April 13, 1928. He left us peacefully surrounded by family on May 30th, 2008. He was the third child of John and Hilda Carrigan. Derek was predeceased by his brother Brian in April 2008. He is survived by his sister Maureen MacColl (North Vancouver) and family.
