Passed away March 28, 2009 in Victoria. She was born in New Westminster, BC on October 26, 1973. Karen was predeceased by her father, David Storey and is survived by her husband, Dennis Bonnell; her mother, Lynda Friesen (Jake); her sisters, Terri Storey and Jeannine Darcus; her niece, Jettana and her nephew, Paris. Karen was an artistic person who will be dearly missed by all who loved and knew her.
Funeral Service will be celebrated on Saturday, April 4, 2009 at 1:00 pm at MCCALL BROS. FLORAL CHAPEL, Johnson & Vancouver Streets. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to charity of choice.

Trevor and Andrea Fisher Trevor and I knew Karen through our daughter, Cara Fisher. We met Karen when they were both in high school in Sidney.
We are deeply sorry that she had died so young and we pray that Karen is now at peace.

Michael, Martha and Sarah Marriott We will miss her. The Storey family is an important part of our lives, and the sudden loss of Karen and her father highlights the fragility of life.
Karen’s struggles are over. Our prayer is that she is with her father David, grandfather Geoff, and all those who loved her and who have gone on before her.

Jennifer Law I am shocked and saddened by Karen’s passing. We became friends in high school and had many good times together. Although we hadn’t seen each other a lot over the last few years, I will always hold those memories with Karen close to my heart.
