Debbie Campbell I was so blessed to have been able to see, talk with, and pray with Nora when she was at the Hospice. I will miss her very much. My Visits to Victoria won’t be the same without her, as I learn so much from her, and from her family as well. To the Kong family: you are a blessing to others, and I thank you for your love and care for the Lord and His creation.

Ken Armstrong, aka, Mr Ken The sun won’t shine as brightly as it did prior to August 24 2024.
“Mrs. Kong”, as I would alway address her, as it just didn’t feel respectful to greet her any other way, would always greet me with a warm hearted and up lifting “hello Mr. Ken”.
She was always a bright ray of sunshine with a beautiful smile and a cute warm laugh, no matter the weather, or how she may have been feeling internally, and she would always allow me the opportunity to feel just a little bit useful by letting me help her with her groceries! Thank you for that Mrs.Kong!Although I didn’t know her well or for very long, I absolutely adored Mrs. Kong. She left an indelible impression on me with her soft peaceful, uplifting and positive spirit, that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.
I will miss her dearly, and I hope someday that our paths may cross again. If you’re reading this Mrs Kong, I promise that if we do meet again, I will leave my “Audi” at home!
Your wonderful spirit will always be with me, and I will forever be “Mr Ken”Thank you Doug for allowing me the opportunity to meet your wonderful mother. My deepest heartfelt condolences to you and your wonderful family, and to all the extended families.
God Bless. ❤️

Miho Nishihama I stayed in Victoria for about a year and a half, and I truly enjoyed my time with you and your family. You taught me many things, especially about quilting. Do you remember? I made five quilts at the church, all thanks to you. I had hoped to learn more from you when I returned to Victoria, but unfortunately, I couldn’t. I’m sorry for that. I cried many times in Japan after I heard the news about you. I miss you so much and hope you’re still sewing quilts for others.

Angela Yeak May the Lord’s peace and blessings be with your family. Nora is deeply loved by her family and all who knew her.
Nora, you will be missed by so many friends and family.
It was my pleasure to have been a small part of your life and Spencers. You were always cheerful and smiling. Your years at Safeway brought a lot of people together with your magic of flowers.
I will never forget your kindness and love you had for all!
