Olive passed away peacefully on Friday, June 14, 2024, at home in Victoria BC surrounded by two of her sons and her daughter in-law. Olive was born March 5, 1923, in Dundas Ontario. Predeceased by her husband Bill in September 1975.
Olive is survived by her loving children Bob (Linda) Olmsted, Bonnie (John) Bakowski, Lynda (Terry) Carr, Kathy (Ron) Williams, Marilyn (Al) Both, William (Lorilee) Olmsted.
Olive had multiple grandchildren and great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild. Olive will be dearly missed by her family and everyone who knew her and will never be far away from her children’s hearts.
Olive and Bill were married December 1940, through the years they raised their family and in 1964 they decided to move out west and arrived in Victoria BC on December 24, 1965. They purchased a retirement home in 1967 where Olive worked until she retired in 1991. Through the years Olive enjoyed bowling and started to bowl more frequently through the 80’s until she was 95 years old and would go camping with her youngest son and daughter in-law up to the age of 100.

There will be a graveside gathering and internment on June 26, 2024, at 2:00 pm at Royal Oak Burial Park, 4673 Falaise Drive.
