Patricia left this world peacefully on April 22, 2024.

Mom was born on November 12, 1929, in Moose Jaw, SK, to Violet and Martin Breesnee. In 1953 she met James Cloak at CHAB Radio Station and they were married on Easter weekend April 15, 1954. A quick honeymoon through a blizzard to Regina, SK, and they were back to work at the radio station!

Mom was an avid golfer, sinking two holes-in-one at Cooke Municipal Golf Course in Prince Albert, SK. She was part of many tournaments all over SK, but most proud of her participation in the Ronald McDonald Charity Tournament every year. She was an active member at St Alban’s Cathedral, serving on the Altar Guild and working tirelessly for the Roberta E Tilton ACW. She sang soprano with the Church Choir and loved her time spent with the Church.

Mom was a Paul Harris Fellow making many donations to the Rotary Club in Prince Albert, SK, and Victoria, BC. She loved the simple beauties in nature; gardening by the fish pond where she’d watch eagles and hawks pluck out fish for their dinners. Mom loved to travel and ventured to many beautiful destinations worldwide with Dad. Mom raised three beautiful children – Robert Andrew, Kathryn Marie, and James Norman… three completely different personalities but all loved and nurtured as only a true Mother can.

Mom loved hosting parties and celebrations for all her friends – she was famous for her deck parties and Christmas dinners. She was an amazing cook – known for turkey dinners, flat Yorkshire puddings and cinnamon buns – which she and Jimmy would eat by the panful.

Mom was amazing in every way. She will forever be in our hearts and missed every single day….

“Forever on the tee box – see you in the clubhouse…”

Mrs. Cloak and Kathe were always the first to host Wedding showers, Baby showers, famous for their meticulous Tea Sandwiches and dainties making each one of us in the neighborhood feel so special.
