Born April 11, 1980 in Comox, BC, Canada.
Entered into Rest January 23, 2024 in Victoria, BC, Canada.
Chris was a quiet, gentle, peaceful, and kind man. His all-too-short life and sudden, unexpected passing leaves great sadness in the lives of his mother Karen Sloan, and his daughters Jade Sloan and Katelyn Munroe. Chris will be dearly missed by his sister Danielle Sloan (Aly) niece Scarlet, nephew Huxley, his father Steve Sloan (Kristen), his sister Mackenzie Sloan, grandma Gemma Murray, and great aunty Anna Robitaille (Russ). Chris was pre-deceased by Jade’s mother Gabrielle Auger and his grandfather Charles Victor Murray.
Chris’s family would like to express sincere gratitude to all those who have provided kind support through this very difficult time, including the Saanich and Victoria Police Departments, Dr. Judelson and staff, celebrant Joan Scandrett, Cathy Dunfield of McCall Gardens, Cathy Clarke, Trevor Moat, all the Auger and Redden family members, and staff of BC Ferries.
Thank you to Lynn (Ken) and Cheryl Ervin, Aunty Anna, Kristen Sloan and Brett Kury for the beautiful flower arrangements at the service.
Rest in the peace you so longed for, Chris.
A memorial service was held February 3, 2024.
