Margot passed away peacefully after an unexpected and brief illness on March 2, 2024.
Throughout her life Margot valued her independence. She was always ready to go for a coffee or a meal, and enjoyed her friends and family time.
She is survived by her mom Anna, brother Chris (Darlene), nephews Ryan and Robin (Minako) and their children Aila, Ash and Seila.
Thank you to all of the RJH health care team who provided such excellent care to Margot.
There will be no service at Margot’s request.
Condolences may be offered to the family below.

Aaron Hurlburt I am so sorry to hear Margot passed away. I remember her helping me cut my pancake at church. For some reason that memory always stuck with me, especially that is such a weird one, that was in the 8os when you taught Sunday school, I believe.
When I’d bump into her, she would great me with a big smile, she always seemed excited and always seemed liked id made her day she always talked about the past, and me as a little kid. I wish I paid more attention to what she said.
Love Aaron and Kirsten

Barbara & Margaret Pilon Dear Chris and Darlene,
I was so sorry to read of the passing of your sister Chris, our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this difficult time.
We were Margot’s neighbours and it always brightened our day when she said hello, be it from her balcony, the lobby, or waiting to cross the street. We will miss her.
