Terrie passed away peacefully at Royal Jubilee Hospital in Victoria, BC on August 10, 2023, at the age of 77 with her loving husband Brian by her side, with whom she had been married for 57 happy years.  Born on March 14, 1946 in Vancouver, BC, Terrie grew up with her brother Ed, who she adored, and was raised by her loving parents El and Martha Hoover.  Terrie raised her family of two boys, Brad and David, with Brian in North Saanich, BC, where she could often be found playing with her grandchildren, who she loved dearly, or reading a book and talking to her roses and orchids.  She will be ever so missed by her husband Brian, her two sons Brad and David, daughters-in-law, Nicole and Carly, grandchildren Cassidy, Madison, Jack, and Tom, her brother Ed and his wife Susan, nieces Crystal, Caroline and Jessica, her Brother-in-law Bob, her many loving friends, extended family, and sorority sisters.

Terrie made everyone around her feel better about themselves with her smile and unconditional love.  She will be sadly missed, but will remain in our hearts.

A heartfelt thank you for the care and kindness received by the staff at the Royal Jubilee Hospital.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2023 at 2pm in the Sequoia Centre at McCall Gardens, 4665 Falaise Dr., Victoria, BC.

    Brian, Brad and David
I was so sorry to read the news of Terrie’s passing in the paper. I remember her fondly from the time she put in at the park at Little League days. I also distinctly remember her being so kind to Taylor when she was young and shy and it seemed always underfoot. Terrie always had a smile on her face. In time the sorrow will be replaced with smiles from all your fond memories. I promise. Thinking of the three of you.
