Pamela MacLeod (nee Whitehead), on August 13, 2023 at age 93 in Victoria, B.C after a short illness.
Formerly of Ottawa Ontario, Baddeck Nova Scotia, and Laverton Australia. Beloved wife of 51 years to the late Dick (Richard) MacLeod. Predeceased by parents Albert and Ella. Loving mother of children Derek (Toba) and Fiona (Martin). Fondly remembered by cousin John and his family in Australia.
Pamela was a Korean War veteran (Australian Red Cross) and actively involved for many years in the Korea Veterans Association. One of Mom’s passions was weaving. She was also an expert cook, wonderful hostess, avid international traveler, and a voracious reader.
We would like to give special thanks to the staff at The Wellesley of Victoria.

Dear Fiona and Derek,
I am so sorry to hear of your mother’s passing. I had wonderful lunches with her in Victoria whenever I visited. Your mother was an amazing woman who never complained about any of her ailments.
It was through the Korean vets association that we met as my husband Joe Bray was a member.
I extend to you both and your partners my sincere condolences.
