Norma was born on September 20, 1930 in Eastview (Ottawa) Ontario, the youngest of seven children. Predeceased by her parents Annie and Fred Turnbull, sisters Anne (“Toots”), Beatrice (“Bunny”), Christina (“Chrissie”), Marion and brothers Bill and Doug. Survived by her husband Raymond (“You are my sunshine”) was their song for 65 years, sons Stephen (Johanne), Michael (Carole), daughters Brenda (Charlie), Julie (Wayne), Cindy, grandchildren Christopher, Victoria, Celena, Amanda, Bradley, great grandson Grayson and many nieces and nephews.
Our Mom was the heart and soul of our family. She had the kindest heart, an incredible inner strength and a smile that would light up any room.
Norma’s family would like to thank the staff on 2 Maple at Oak Bay Lodge and the staff at the Summit for taking such good care of our mom. Special thank you to Mary for her kindness and friendship to Norma. They would break into a huge smile when they saw each other and do the royal wave.

Linda Renaud I was very saddened to hear that Aunt Norma had passed away. I will always have fond memories of the times I spent with her over the years. She was such a kind and sweet woman who was always genuinely happy to see us. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family at this sad time. May you all take comfort in the memories you shared together. It’s comforting to know she has now been reunited with her Turnbull family. They will all be so happy to welcone her. Rest in peace dear Aunt Norma and God bless you. ❤️
