In loving memory of our son and brother Patrick, his life was a blessing, his memory a treasure, he is loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.
It is with profound sadness we announce the tragic and untimely passing of our cherished and beloved son and brother Patrick due to an
accidental drug overdose on May 12, 2023 in Victoria BC.
Pat is always loved and will be forever missed by his immediate family in Manitoba and British Columbia – his mom and dad Lisa and Roy Howie (Heather); his brother Bryan, sister-in-law Amanda and nieces Aria and Navy; his brother Matthew and sister-in-law Krystine; his step-brothers Kellen, Devyn and Cody Read, and his grandma Myrna Roy.
Pat grew up in Falcon Lake Manitoba, and lived in Victoria BC for most of his adult life. Pat is missed and is remembered by his many aunts and uncles, cousins, extended family, friends and work colleagues in Manitoba and in British Columbia. He is predeceased by his step-father Glen Roy and his grandparents Leon and Lorraine Rubin and Donald and Anne Howie.
A service of remembrance honoring Pat’s life was held in Victoria, BC on June 11, 2023.
