With a heavy heart, we announce the passing of Marsha Cherryl Gordon, who left us on July 7, 2023. Born in 1947, Marsha lived a vibrant and memorable life, her spirit defined by independence and a fierce will.
Marsha is lovingly remembered by her devoted children, Tamara and Christopher, and her cherished grandsons, Jaden and Kai. Her life was joyfully intertwined with her grandchildren and her “granddog” LuLu, who all brought immeasurable happiness to her world.
A well-traveled soul, Marsha found a piece of her heart in many corners of the world, with Hawaii being her most beloved retreat. Originally from Montreal – she found serenity among the stunning landscapes of her chosen home of British Columbia. Marsha’s professional life was marked by a fulfilling career with Air Canada, which allowed her to meet people and experience cultures across the globe. She proudly spent her last 20 years living life on her own itinerary, embodying the strength and resilience she was known for.
Marsha’s legacy is woven into her love for her family and the memories they created together. The smell of her baked goods and the sound of her piano playing still linger in the hearts of her grandchildren who will carry these precious moments forward. Her life’s tapestry was vibrant, filled with adventure, food and laughter.
Marsha’s passing leaves a gap in many lives. Her extended family and network of friends, spanning the globe, will dearly miss her indomitable spirit. Marsha’s legacy is not only what she achieved but how she lived her life – with strength, independence, and absolutely on her own terms.
As we bid her farewell, we celebrate a life well-lived and honor the spirit of the woman that she was. In loving remembrance of Marsha Gordon – a treasured mother, grandmother, aunt, cousin, sister and friend.

Marsha was a wonderful neighbour at Falconridge,. She was one of the first to introduce herself when we moved into #10. She continually looked out for us and our well-being , wishing us safe travels, and welcoming our return home. We miss seeing her smiling face on the balcony.
