Born in Redcar, Yorkshire England.
Predeceased by Husband Robert, Daughter Racheal, and brother Michael. She leaves behind many families in Canada and 4 nieces in England. Joan Immigrated to Canada as a nurse in the RCAF in 1960 -1966 attaining the rank of Flying Officer. A career nurse working in many different locations. She was a caring person, always willing to help and look after others. She was a good friend to Janet, Susan, Doug and many others. The folks at the Briarwood will miss their special lady. Interment Service will be held at The Anglican Church on Pender Island on Thursday, June 29, 2023 at 1:00 pm
