It is with great sadness to announce the passing of wife, mother, sister, and friend Linda Ralph. Linda is survived by husband of 52 years Meryl, son Jeff (Leah), daughter Andrea (John) granddaughters Aurora and Asha and sister Donna.
Linda was raised on a small rural farm near Seeley’s Bay, Ontario. She was the first in the family to attend University where she obtained her degree in Education at Queens.
Linda, aka ‘Mrs. Ralph’, spent her career as a Kindergarten to Grade 2 teacher for the Frontenac School Board. She frequented the halls of Joyceville, J.E. Horton and Woodside public schools (among others) where she was loved and admired by her peers and known as “my favourite teacher” by numerous students.
In 1999 Linda retired after 32 years of teaching and moved to beautiful Victoria, BC. Her retirement years were very busy. When she was not traveling to UK, Europe or Central America, she was volunteering as a peer coach or partaking in such activities as yoga, hang gliding or skiing in the Rocky Mountains.
Being surrounded by friends and family was very important to Linda. She loved hosting or being part of impromptu family gatherings and spending time with her two granddaughters whom she adored.
The family would like to say a big thank you to the Kiwanis Pavilion staff for taking such good care Linda and being so supportive throughout the years.
At Linda’s request, there will be no funeral or memorial services. Instead, her ask is to say a simple “Cheers” to a wonderful life.
Condolences may be offered to the family below.

Dear Donna, I am so sorry to read of Linda’s passing. It has been many years since I’ve seen you girls but our school buddies and neighbours in Brewers Mills and Seeleys Bay would come up in conversations over the past 56 years. It is lovely to know that Linda became a teacher and was so well respected………she was always a gracious person as were all you girls. Please extend my most sincere condolences to your family and Lindas.
