We are sad to announce the unexpected death of our beloved husband, father, brother, Pépé and friend who passed away at age 69 on April 12, 2023. Tim was a much loved, kind, and thoughtful man who loved fully and greatly, he left an imprint on the hearts of those that knew him.
They all say, “I’m sorry for your loss” as if you could be taken from me. It is as the saying goes; It isn’t what we leave behind, it’s what we leave in people’s hearts that count, and Tim left us all with his passion for the beauty in all of nature as he created his exceptional paintings and his one of a kind wild life photography.
Tim held many titles in his life beyond already previously mentioned; Son, Husband, Father, Fishing Guide, gardener, Jack of all trades, musician, golfer, a generous host and culinary artist. a trusted confidante to those of us who knew and valued his steadfast loyalty and good sense.
But most of all, he loved nothing more than spending time with his family and friends, cooking beautiful meals, lending a hand wherever he could.
Tim’s sons; Ryan, Shane, Chris, and Jordan all share an unbreakable and loving bond as he was their number one fan.
He was teaching his grandchildren how to fish and how to cook. As well, how to respect the earth and its animals, a loving and gentle Pépé
He was predeceased by his parents; George and Nita Hogue of Ontario. Left to mourn, his wife Sue, sons; Ryan (Estelle), Shane, (grandson Caden), Chris (Michelle) and grandson’s Nixon and Emmett, Jordan (Michelle) grandchildren Harlow and Asher.
Lovingly remembered by his siblings; Michelle (Norm), Judy (Nerio), Gary (Linda), Noella (Larry), Rose Marie (Stan) and Terry.
Tim also leaves behind his father-in-law, Dave (Julie) and sisters-in-law; Michele (Frank), Sharon (Dave).
Forever in our hearts, never to be forgotten.
Condolences may be offered to the family below.

Adam Bagatto We really miss you Uncle Tim. It can feel like we have all the time in the world and then the reality is, life and our time together can be too short. We had made plans to play some golf rounds together when the weather got better. That will not happen now, but will at some time and place down the road Uncle Tim. We love you and miss you. Your big booming laugh and large warming smile. Rest now in peace and love Uncle Tim.

Nereo Bagatto The sudden loss of such a beloved man leaves a big void in our hearts that will be very hard to fill. My heart felt sympathy goes out to Sue and the rest of his extended family. As a brother-in-law living more than 2500 miles apart for most of our adult lives, I remember Tim’s younger years. As a young boy, when I would see Tim he was always either fishing, hunting or just spending time with nature. This was how he developed a loving nature that cared for everyone he came in contact with. He loved it when his dad, George, decided to move to northern Ontario when he retired. It was during this time that Tim fulfilled his natural love of the outdoors. That love came from his father who shared the same values to protect and preserve the natural beauty of God’s gift to us. I think that is how Tim’s loving personalty was formed. We will miss you Tim but I know you will keep protecting your loved ones from a higher place now. Rest in peace brother.

Rose Marie Hogue. Baby si My most beloved brother Tim. I go to pick up my phone to tell you what new recipe I found that you have to try and you’re not there anymore to answer my call. I want to brag about what a great job Stan did on a project he was working on and you’re not there to cheer him on. I find the most incredible hole has appeared in my heart ♥️ and I just don’t know how to try and go about filling it because my steadfast confidante has left this world and has taken a spot sitting between our beloved Father George and Mother Juanita aka Chickey Poo whom you bestowed that title on. I want you to know now as I did pretty much every single day of every week of every year for the last 62 years because I am quite sure I was not gifted as a 2 year old to have a conversation lol simply that I love you. You’re giving soul, your love of all things family, your compassion when someone needed a hug and a smile as grand as The state of Texas is big ! I knew and I thank god for all my family but a special thank God the Heavenly Father for giving me 64 years with the best brother I was so greatly blessed with who put up with me loved me and protected me fiercely! Forever in all our hearts and don’t worry I got your message I won’t cry too much and I promise to take care of Susie always just as you asked. I
I love you always and forever. Your baby sister

Dave Gale Tim ‘The very best’ we were so lucky to have him in our family. He always had a hug for us all. He gave so much, sharing his caught fish, his art, his veggies from the garden (tasty peaches), running to help others, helping with jobs we could not do, and showing us his ideas which were always sooo artistic. He was a very talented man in so many ways. We will always have him in our hearts forever. Love is the word that best describes Tim, and he gave that to us all. Dave

Valerie Nieuwenhout Heaven has gained a beautiful angel! Tim sure was amazing at all he did with nature, excellent cook and much more but the most amazing I believe was his love for his family and how he adores Sue ❤️. I’m blessed to have known him and enjoy his most amazing wildlife pictures and drawings I have in my home. RIP dear Tim.

FRANK John ALEXANDER Tim definitely gave the best hugs ever, his hospitality and generosity was always way over the top and he along with Suzie always made everyone feel so welcome in their house. I’ll definitely miss the competitive combat “Crazy Eights” that only Tim could turn into a feeling of winning Lord Stanleys Cup. Michele and I miss you with all our hearts and pray that you truly are in a better place. Love you forever Bro-in-Law !

Heidi Baillargeon Uncle Tim, will always be in our hearts and I know he is watching over us all. We called him Uncle Timmy Bear for that reason, because I will always remember his big heart and huge bear hugs. That and the fact that he always had a stash of gummy bears and jolly ranchers he shared with us. No matter how much time had passed between visits we were always greeted with the biggest hugs and huge smile that beamed from ear to ear. Uncle Tim, told the best stories and the love he had for his family and friends was apparent in every action, kind word and in his daily life. Uncle Tim was a giver and a doer, he would not hesitate to help out anyone that needed it even perfect strangers. He loved life with his infectiously warm personality and huge heart. I remember the last trip out to see him and Sue and he took us to the beach to show us some driftwood sculptures, cooked us the most amazing meals, shared peaches from his peach trees which were delicious, and both him and Susie gave us their undivided attention the entire visit. You will be dearly missed Uncle Tim, but know your legacy lives on and will be remembered and felt in the beautiful sunrise each morning, when we see an eagle fly over head, in every beautiful painting, when we witness our kids catch a big fish or when we take them to the store to buy gummy bears. I can’t purchase them without thinking of you! Your spirit lives on in the hearts of all those you have touched over the years may we carry you with us and live life to the fullest appreciating every single day! Love you, until we meet again.

Roslyn Heslop For Tim,
“May the Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine upon you, and be gracious to you; the Lord lift up his countenance upon you, and give you peace”
All the times I would hear your deep booming voice say, Hi, Rossie! come on in, can I get you something? You were always so welcoming and cared for all of us. You will be missed so much
Love always, Rossie

Sharon G Tim went out of this world, too soon! We are deeply saddened by such a huge loss. My first (earliest) memory is when the whole family went to Mt. Washington and Tim was preparing food (likely for a good part of the day) he put his heart and soul into his cooking for us all! He was always a safe spot at house parties for he was a welcoming, inclusive, accepting, and loving man. Let’s not forget how much he loved to laugh and have funny moments he would share, too! He was so giving of his time; he planned and prepared meals for big events and the foods were always carefully thought out and had all special fixings; delicious and unforgettable! I am not certain all would really know the time and efforts that truly were a labour of love. He may have spent the day before and the whole next day doing so! I did observe that he was the last one to start eating as he made sure every guest had what they wanted. I won’t ever forget our times playing virtual bowling, golf, he was so dramatic, intense and funny about his game playing. I am so grateful that I have one of his sequenced eagle prints in my home that will be treasured forever. He loved his entire family and talked fondly of everyone! He loved to fish and go crabbing. He would spend days preparing crab, smoked salmon, salmon dip, and more! He shared and gave most of it away!! My last memory (more recently) was our trip up island as couples when we went to the Seafood Festival! We had so much fun playing games, swimming, eating and taste testing; and this was one of the few times, he didn’t have to prepare the food. Tim would alway hug you after spending any time with you and that was always felt with happiness and appreciation. Tim, my brother, we will always love and remember you and you will never be forgotten. Now I will try to help my sister Susie move forward with the ways I can as she deserves the gentle treatment and love that the 2 of you shared together.

Gary Hogue I know Tim as a younger brother who was often the brunt of a joke. But ya know? He went along with it simply out of friendship, wanting to be like his older brother. Tim was a hunter, fish catching demon long before he headed west. What set him apart, was his deep love for Mother Nature and all she stood for, and I know he got that from our father. His artistry purely in my opinion could only have come from our mother. Ain’t No Doubt in my mind bout that. His sense of humour was impeccable. We All have memories of Tim each most precious. The only thing that I can say is. He was a little brother I often looked up to…. Can’t beat that, can ya?

Noella Courneya How beautiful and true Tim was such a loving kindhearted person who loved all with such big hugs warm smiles and would always be there to help everyone anyway he could. His beautiful art pieces grace our walls and bring such comfort and joy to see. I know he is watching over all of us especially his loving wife Sue and his children and grandchildren. Talk to him and listen he will protect and comfort you from above. God bless you dear brother. Our hearts are broken. We love you so!
Sue I am so sorry to hear of your loss. May you hold close the memories you have and lean on those that love you.
