Siang Hong Kee went to be with the Lord peacefully in her sleep on March 30, 2023. Siang was born in Johor Baru, Johor, Malaysia on February 8, 1927, and immigrated to Canada in 1981.

Siang was an intelligent, vibrant, kind, honest, generous, and wonderful person who loved cooking, baking, painting, origami and travelling. She loved to be surrounded by family and friends, and being fun-loving and witty, she could tell stories in such a way that got her audience in stitches.

She is predeceased by her husband, Soo Huang and is survived by her four daughters, Joyce, Siok Yang, Sokee and Jacy; two sons Peter and Victor; two sons-in-law: Poh and Andrew; two daughters-in-law: Irene and Wendy; seven grandchildren: Julian, Stefanie, Elaine, Alex, Sabrina, Samuel and Aaron; five grandchildren-in-law: Eric, Amanda, Jennifer, Scott and Yi Shi; and six great grandchildren: Ethan, Jensen, Bella, Taylor, William and Emma.

The Celebration of Life was held on April 7, 2023 at 2:00pm at the Sequoia Centre at McCall’s Gardens, 4665 Falaise Drive, Victoria, BC.
