CARTER, Isobel Amy (nee Pratley) passed into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on January 11, 2023. Belle will be lovingly remembered by her children: John (Jack), David, and Jack’s wife, Martha, two grandchildren: Matthew (Tabby), and Rachel (Justin) and her eight great-grandchildren as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Isobel was predeceased by her parents, Raymond and Dorothy, husband Roy (2002), sister Dorothy and brother Jack. Isobel was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was active in service at churches, lastly at Oak Bay Gospel Assembly. She played the organ and piano until she was 100 for church and at Beacon Hill Villa which she referred to as “The Young Folks Home”. A special thank you to those who loved and cared for her in her last years: Nozomi Riddington, Margaret and Mike Wood, Kara Webster, Ilona Dukai and VIHA caregivers.
A Graveside Service will be held at Royal Oak Burial Park, 4673 Falaise Drive, Victoria, BC on Friday, January 27, 2023 at 2:00 PM.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at Oak Bay Gospel Assembly, 1900 Oak Bay Ave., Victoria on Saturday, January 28 at 2:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, friends who wish, may make memorial donations to:
