After a courageous battle with cancer during which he somehow managed to keep his sense of humour, Ray passed away peacefully November 12, 2022 with his family by his side. A devoted husband, father, stepfather and the best Gampy in the entire world. Ray loved his family, his friends and the game of golf. Taken too soon but a life well lived. Ray was predeceased by his parents and brother Mike. He is survived by his wife Diane, daughter Rebecca (Seb), stepsons Nathan, Jordan (Nicole), granddaughters Taylor and Haley, siblings Carmen (Ken), Linda (Wayne), Janice, Art (Joanne), mother-in-law Joyce, sisters-in-law Marg, Carolyn (Richard), Janice and too many nieces and nephews to name individually.

Celebration of Life to follow in early 2023.

In lieu of flowers, Ray would like you to spend some extra time with loved ones and take that trip you have been thinking about because you never really know how much time you have.

I only knew Ray as a casual acquaintance, but he always took the time to humour me and provided a listening ear. he was truly a wonderful man. I had the good fortune to tee it with Ray in his Cedar Hill days, a good sport and fine companion. I will miss the occasional moments when we would happen upon one another….. always at a golf course.
