With a sad heart we announce the passing of our Dad, Ron.
Predeceased by his loving wife Joan in 2013 and son Alan in 2011, Ron is survived by his children Deborah, Scott (Wendy), Brian (Raeanna), and grandchildren Justin, Vanessa and Benjamin.
Ron started his working career with the Topographic Division of the BC Government Lands and Forests where he spent many summers charting roads, rivers and lakes of BC. Ron joined the Colwood Volunteer Fire Department in1953, and retired as captain in 1967.
Ridley Brothers Development Company was founded by Ron and his four brothers in 1964, and for many years was a major influence in the development of Colwood.
Ron loved to travel, although Joan was able to convince him to take a few cruises, Ron’s true passion was exploring places off the beaten track.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 pm, Sunday, November 20th, 2022, at the Olympic View Golf Club, 643 Latoria Rd, Victoria, BC.
