Born and raised in Victoria, Pat is survived and sadly missed by his brothers, Derek (Jennifer), Dennis (Ruth), Don (Dawn-Marie) and Michael (Lisa). “Pattytricker” was a kind and funny uncle to many nieces, nephews and their families as they grew up and spread across BC and Alberta. He was predeceased by his mother, Kathleen (1960); father, Harvey (1996); brother, David (1999); stepmother, Doreen (2016) and the love of his life, Monika (2009).
Pat was a passionate and responsible recycler. He was a repairer of cane and rattan furniture through his company Woven Rattan Revival. Pat avidly supported and followed Victoria’s development and evolution. But foremost, Pat was the keeper of many of our childhood memories.
A celebration of Pat’s life will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2022 from 1 to 4pm at 3441B Salsbury Way, Victoria, BC.

I met Pat in 1994 when I worked at Garth Homer centre. He was such a friendly and smart man who was respectful and compassionate towards the clients. I admired his work ethic and I so enjoyed our conversations on many topics. And such a great sense of humour! I am happy he was able to continue his business years later.
My deepest condolences to the family.
