Aletha Thompson Dear Tammi and Richard.
I met Diane through my husband John Peters back in the Club du Baron days. You may remember us from your visits here, in Montreal. We also visited her and your dad in England and Victoria, where she did an amazing job e=with the Bed and Breakfast
When my beloved John died last year she called and we spoke several times. She was going through her own troubles but was gracious and sympathetic.
She was a truly loving lady and you both meant the world to her.
Thank you for including me in the notification.

Tina Hepsaydir Dear Tammy and Richard. I met your mum in 1976 in Montreal. Diane was a pal of my sister Rosalind. Although Diane was 10 years older than me we had an instant connection. She took me out for my 18th birthday and was astounded that I requested McDonald’s. I had just come from Ireland and had never been in one. DIANE very kindly took me to the Club du Baron in the Lorrentian mountains and introduced me to cross country skiing. I ended up working 2 seasons there. Diane was always welcoming to me. I stayed in her home in Montreal where she gave me a surprise party. I brought my kids to her home in the UK and she taught my daughter Leyla the rhyme…
Peter piper picked a peck of pickled peppers. A pack of pickled peppers Peter Piper picked. If Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers, where’s the peck of pickled peppers Peter Piper picked?
Diane phoned me in February 2021 and we had a long chat. I’m so glad that I knew your Mum. I always had fun with her and I will never forget her kindness to me. May she rest in peace
