My observation while knowing Sandra is that she was a wonderful Mother. My experience was that she was also a wonderful friend. We met in the late 70’s, quickly became friends and eventually roommates. I have many wonderful memories of her, she was an absolute delight to spend time with. Sandra was intelligent, she was very kind, she was loyal, she was a good listener, she liked to laugh, she was a voracious reader, unassuming, thoughtful and forgiving. I loved her, I miss her. She was a wonderful friend.
