Bee vrskovy Steve and I know Betty from The Order of the Eastern Star. She had a wonderful and moving singing voice and sang at many meetings to everyone’s delight. She was also an amazing comic actress, our Chapter put on many evening entertainments and she could have us roaring with laughter at the funny skits she would perform in.
We have many memories of our wonderful Betty. She will be a happy and lasting memory to many people.

George Razzo On behalf of my brothers and myself we would like to offer our condolences
I have known Betty Winters all my life, She was a a life long friend of my mother (Betty Razzo) , they 1st met while they both lived in Leechtown in the late forty’s to the early fifty’s where Betty’s husband Art run a freight business, they lived up on Wolf Creek, and my parents lived downtown Leechtown. My family had moved into Victoria before I was born. They both ended up in the Western communities years later (Langford and Colwood) I still remember Happy Valley Freight and the gas station at the corner of Sooke and Jacklin Roads. I went to school with Wayne, I remember a lot of summer days swimming at Glen Lake, just a short walk from the family home But as time passed we lost touch, I also remember Betty’s mother, (but I do not know how to spell her name Mrs. Ron-all-dee) she always reminded of Julie Child my mother and I would visit her in Victoria at the corner of Hillside and Douglas (the Scott Block) Her place always smelled so good, and she always had some great treats for us
I remember going to Butchart Gardens, to hear Betty sing, she had a wonderful voice The last time I talked to Betty was when our mother passed
Sorry for your loss and thank you for bringing back so many good memories

Our families extend their condolences to Betty’s family on the passing of their mother. Betty was our neighbour and friend for most of our lives. Betty was one of our mother’s dearest friends.
