Born on November 22, 1922 in Victoria, BC. Passed away peacefully on May 3, 2022 at Oak Bay Kiwanis Pavilion. She was predeceased by her husband Dennis Litchfield. Also predeceased by her brother and wife Bruce and Edna Lohr, brother and wife Owen and Ruth Lohr, and sister Dorothy and husband Fred Messerschmidt.
She will be missed by her daughter Marie Feller, sisters Fran Schaefer and Selma (Art) Clayton, brother Melvin (June) Lohr and many nieces and nephews.
Bernice enjoyed volunteering at the Saanich Pioneer Society and dancing at the James Bay New Horizons Society. She also enjoyed knitting and reading and caring for a beautiful garden. In her early years she loved camping.
