Danny passed away peacefully at his home on February 1, 2022. He is survived by his sister, Angela, brother-in-law, James, and nephews, Stephen and David. A quiet, mild-mannered guy, Danny will be greatly missed by his family and many friends. Danny was a skilled carpenter, known for his meticulous work. His pride in his work showed in the clinker-built rowboat he lovingly restored and maintained. Danny enjoyed rowing it on the Gorge waterway, and often went as far as the Inner Harbour. Danny loved classic wooden boats, a passion he shared with his father, Richard (Rick), who passed away in 2017. Danny is also predeceased by his mother, Margaret (2004), and his brother, Roy (2020).

Tony D Very sorry to hear of Danny’s passing.
He was indeed very good and detailed at his craft.
Always enjoyable to talk with when he would visit our shop for materials for his many projects. Will miss his little black Chevy truck driving around Esquimalt. Condolences,
Tony D.

Ian Booth Dear Angela and family, My condolences to you. I went to school with Danny and had the pleasure to work with both him and your father Rick. Both were very pleasant and enjoyable people to be around. Danny helped me build my house almost 40 years ago and it is still standing.
Very nice photo of Danny, he sure looks like his dad there.

Michele Such sad news. Will be missed by Aunt Catherine West, cousins Michele, Natalie and Lucinda, our families.
The very best nephew an uncle could have. Love, “Jake”. He will be fondly remembered for all the hard work he did around our house. Thank you, Dan. Love, uncle Jack, Aunt Sharon, and cousin Kelly.
