Wu Tang Lui passed away at home in Victoria, British Columbia.

He is lovingly remembered by his wife of 8 years, Muoi Lam; his sons Tony Lui, Ray Lui, Victor Lui; his grand-daughters, Raeanne Vanraamsdonk, Rachelle Vanraamsdonk, as well as many friends and colleagues.

He was predeceased by his first wife May Lui and daughter Anna Lui.

Lui was born in China in 1932 and emigrated with his family to Canada in 1967 where he settled in Victoria. He was a man who loved working with his hands, and appreciated the simple things in life like the results of hard work, fixing things around the house and the love of his family. He enjoyed being outdoors in nature and found many opportunities to do that while he lived in Victoria for over 50 years.

The highlight of his later years was falling in love with his wife Muoi of 8 years, who he met at the Victoria Chinese Pentecostal Church where he attended after his first wife’s passing, which became a match made in heaven.

The family would like to extend sincere thanks and gratitude to the staff at VIHA homecare, as well as the doctors and staff who cared for Lui so well.

“Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: verse 26, and whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this.” John Chapter 11-25
