It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Sharon Johnson at the age of 67 in Cranbrook, B.C. Born in Victoria, B.C., to Stan and Dorothy Bickford, Sharon grew up in Brentwood Bay and later graduated from Claremont Secondary. She enjoyed nothing more than being around her children and grandchildren, watching them perform in recitals, compete in sports, and many other activities. Moving to Kelowna in 1999, Sharon enjoyed ladies’ night golf with close friends. Sharon will be remembered for her captivating smile, infectious laugh, and kind natured self.
Sharon will be greatly missed; gone from our sight but never from our hearts. Sharon is survived by her children Tracy (Mike), Angela (Dave), Sarah (Matt), and Ray (Trish); her grandchildren Mikayla, Julia, Madison, Cassidy, Taya, Kylie, Henry, Talo, Mia and Ella; her sister Norma (Stan); and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and long-time friends. Sharon was predeceased by her parents and sister Doreen.
A Celebration of Sharon’s Life will be held in the Sequoia Centre at McCall Gardens, 4665 Falaise Drive, on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at 2PM.

Gerry Irwin Tracy, Angela, Sarah, Ray and Families:
We remember all the good times we had with your mother during the Lake Country Motel years. We have so many wonderful memories of our many get togethers for birthdays, Christmas, Grey Cups, golfing, etc.
She so enjoyed talking about and was proud of all her children and grandchildren.
We share in your loss and may you take some comfort in knowing how much she meant to others.
Gwyneth and Gerry
To Sharon’s lovely Family, I was so sorry to hear of her passing. She was taken way to young. I loved having fun with her. We had her on our boat here in Kelowna, she spent almost the entire time on a float chair in the water. She was loving it. I also enjoyed golfed with her, she’s always up for a game. I miss her. She loved you all.
