Simon was one of a small band of volunteers who year after year, close to 30 years I think , worked to help the V.D.C A. provide quality facilities for those of us who played cricket. Never one to seek the limelight, ask and he quietly got things done . We never properly thanked you in life but we should now , thanks Sport R.I.P .
Sincere condolences to the Family at this sad time .

I knew Simon for decades through Cricket. Simon played cricket for Castaways and volunteered for a long time. He was active until 2020 as a liaison between the VDCA and the City of Victoria. Simon was a remarkable man who dedicated so many years to cricket in Victoria. The Cricket community in Victoria has lost a great contributor both on and off the field.
My sincere condolences to his family on this loss!

Our sincere condolences to your family regarding the passing of both Simon and Anez.

I very much enjoyed playing with Simon on the Castaway’s cricket team.
We had many good chats with him on social occasions.

May they both rest in peace.

Dear Adam and Sarah, I am truly sad to learn of Simon’s passing and now of Anez’s, too. I recall how close a family you were and the recent loss of both Simon and Anez must be a blow to you all. I remember such fun times at John and Anez’s lovely home on Eberts Street. My thoughts are with you. Fondly, Randi Masters

We have great memories of Simon. He was our realtor for the purchase of houses on two different occasions. We are still in the house he found for us 27 years ago. We appreciated his wisdom, patience, and sense of humour. Very sorry to hear of his passing.

Love and prayers with you at this time.
