Lorie Meggison I would like to extend my deepest sympathy to Shirley’s family.
I met Shirley shortly after moving to Victoria 9 years ago. We had many golf and curling games together and she played a big part in helping me to feel part of those communities. She was very kind to me and I admired her strength and feisty spirit. I will miss her.

Annie Harley I have known Shirley since I was a little girl. She was unique – she carved her own path and lived life on her own terms. She welcomed Gerry and me into her home at various times and gave my tabby cat, Tao, a permanent home when we became nomads. A good person.
It was my privilege to have known you, Shirley.

Barb MacKenzie To Shirleys Family
My heartfelt condolences to the Family on the loss of Shirley. May she be forever in your hearts.
Shirley will always hold a special place in my heart. She was a true individual that I learned a lot from. She gave me confidence that a woman could be strong and independent as well as witty and caring. For that I will always be grateful. I heart goes out to the family.
