Ann passed away peacefully with her family by her side at Glenwarren Lodge on Tuesday May 4, 2021 in Victoria. Born in Lloydminster Saskatchewan she moved to Victoria with her family to settle in the Fernwood area in the mid 30’s. Ann graduated from Victoria High School in 1951 and met and married Bruce Taylor Baines in 1957.
Ann is predeceased by her husband Bruce in 2006 and her dear sister Dorothy Lawson in 2011, with whom she shared a very close bond. She is dearly missed by her children Murray, Susan (Eric Holden), Brian and her grandchildren; Sam, Alyssa (Simon), Hilary, Robbie and Cooper.
Ann was a long-time member of the Order of the Eastern Star and Daughters of the Nile. She worked for the BC Ministry of Transportation for over 25 years, retiring in 1997.
There will be no service at this time and she will be laid to rest alongside her husband Bruce at Royal Oak Burial Park. Please raise a glass in her memory.

Dear Murray, Susan, Brian and Family:
We just want to let you all know how much we admired and enjoyed your Mom over the years at our

All the Appletree Staff are sending our deepest sympathy to everyone. We know your Mom and Dad are together again with Dorothy and Bob and they were so proud of you all.
With loving sympathy, your friends,
