Born in North Vancouver, Helen passed away at Rest Haven Lodge, Sidney. Predeceased by husbands John Brandon & Fred Wells, brother Bob Main and granddaughter Cristin Mills. Helen will be greatly missed by her children Sandra (Terry), Roberta (Gilles) & son John, grandchildren: Wade (Rachel), Chad (Maryanne) & Corbin, great-grandchildren: Avary, Riley, Noah, Carter, Brayden & former daughter-in-law Angela King. Helen grew up in N. Van. where she owned/operated a beauty salon while John was off at war. In 1958 after moving throughout BC the family settled in Victoria. Helen worked part- time but her main passion was maintaining an immaculate home and caring for the family. A decorator before it became fashionable, she was always a lady. A tiny, dainty “princess” who loved sunning, swimming, happy hour and camping at Pacific Playground with Fred and John. She liked to travel and enjoyed trips to Reno, cruises & short stints to Parksville with her daughters.
Thank you to the dedicated staff at RHL who befriended and cared for Helen for the last 13 years.
Due to Covid, only immediate family will attend the interment at
Royal Oak Burial Park.
