Joanne Derrick I was sad to read that Brian has passed away. I knew him from shopping at our garden center for years. I always enjoyed talking with him. Our conversation went from plants to our Ford trucks..
I just wanted to send my condolences to the family…

Berna Ruffell for the Retired Teachers The members of the Lower Vancouver Island Retired Teachers Association want to offer our condolences and let you know that we are thinking of you at this difficult time.
Brian Bassett was my favourite teacher at Oak Bay Junior High. He fought for me to be on the regular program. He was a consummate teacher and scientist. I loved his science experiments. I will always remember his talent for teaching Margot Ling
