Chris Jiggins I remember clearly when David, member #36 at AGCC and bought 8 months before we opened, came into the clubhouse on his way to the back 9 on April 23, 1997. His group told me that he had just had an ace on hole #7… hush, hush, so as to avoid a large bar bill at the conclusion of the round. Now, this was the 20th hole-in-one since we opened the course 10 months earlier so we were starting to get used to this kind of news… but what set it apart and made it very special was that David had just been the 1st to deliver a hole-in-one on the uphill 147 yard hidden bunker #7. As it was, David was a real sport and with a large smile bought a round at #19. I remember our Dad, Mike Jiggins, congratulating David and enjoying a Hermann’s. And not to be outdone Dorothy aced #5 in Feb.98 and #16 in Jun.05. I wish you Dorothy and all your family best regards and love from the Arrowsmith Family. Cheers David!

Peter and Pat Spinks Dear Dorothy,
We were very sad to hear of David’s passing. We will always remember him for his kindness and helpfulness. If we had a problem, David had a solution and David was a perfectionist — evident in the deck he built for us!When you left Qualicum Beach we missed our chats in the garden whether it was discussing the lawns or putting the world to right, those were good times. The neighbourhood and us missed you both. However, we were happy your move took you to be near family.
Take care of yourself Dorothy.
With our sympathy to you and the family,
Peter and Pat Spinks.
