Athalie of Magog, PQ went to heaven peacefully on Thursday, November 22, 2018. She was 98 years old.
She is survived by her children Maureen her husband Jack, Carol, William and her most cherished grandchildren, Austin, his wife Pei and Nicholas.
Athalie was married to the Honorable C. Mark Vaughan of the Canadian Diplomatic Corps. They lived in Italy, Switzerland, Belgium, Denmark, Trinidad, Seattle and New York City.
Athalie represented Canada with elegance, grace and beauty. Later, Athalie became a corporate travel agent in White Plains, NY where she excelled as one of the top agents.
Athalie made everyone she met feel special with her gentleness, charm and humor. She has several friends worldwide including those on her Facebook link.
In lieu of flowers at this holiday season, please give to the charity of your choice. Athalie was very generous to those in need.
